Midas has given us cause for concern for a while now. He’s had ups and downs with fatigue, throwing up, losing, weight, to name a few. He’s just not acting like himself. Of course he is 16 going on 17, so we all know what that means- he’s getting old
but one thing he does well, is sleep

Tracy gave me this card years ago. I loved receiving it as she knows I love Mark Twain.

ps.thanks for your 1st comment Ted-I may have lost Ray’s😥but I gained yours 😄 Perfect timing!
What a great tribute to Midas using his delightful path of safe snuggly sleeping harbors throughout your home. You have loved and supported Midas to be his inner cat on his own terms all these years. You arranged for his care during your travels and allowed him to become the neighborhood legend he is today. Kudos to your extraordinary kindness and inclusion of this sweet cat. You are making his retirement golden and dignified.
I love all these pics of Midas, my favorite one is him curled up in a circle in the bowl, so cute!! daddy said he will paint the bench as soon as it cools down here and me and emily will start it! cant wait to finish and give it back to you guys

Thanks for all the great pictures of Midas enjoying his life. He is beautiful and we all love him. When he looks into your eyes, you feel his spirit down deep in your soul. May he enjoy many more naps and his time with you and Jerry be long lived. Love, Celia
It’s a good life for Midas. And he poses well. Like Amy, my favorite is the nap in a bowl photo. He’s been such a good buddy to you guys all these years.
Midas is such a precious friend with his pretty gold eyes. It makes me happy to see how much he adds to your life. Thanks for the pictures. – Sharon
Midas is a lucky cat, he’s also your good pet! I like the picture of him on the bench, so relaxed and carefree.
