We had a good start on New Year’s Eve at Frank and Linda’s. Their house is always so beautifully decorated at Christmas. The table was set so inviting, but we first toasted with champagne and shrimp cocktails 🥂🥂

Linda’s food never fails to disappoint,
starting with a beautiful and scrumptious salad,

then a mouth watering delicious ‘pork shank Marsala’

then finished with my pumpkin pie, all the while drinking fine wine🍷it was a fun, quiet celebration🎉 ending way before midnight. We were home tucked in bed by then.

I hope you all are having a good start to this new year. I don’t know about you guys, but I no longer make resolutions. I don’t want to start the year out with unattainable expectations, which they usually are and never happen.

Well, no one spotted the missing piece of that last puzzle, so I thought I’d show you where it was

now you can see it, huh? You take your chances with thrift store puzzles. It take’s awhile before I realized the pieces left, which were mostly white, won’t go in that spot, but they’re still fun to do. My next puzzle was an easy one⬇️very easy, and nostalgic, seeing all these places on our travels.

We’ve had some pretty sunsets lately. Even a stunning rainbow, and beautiful clouds.

and of course our little Melody is growing, learning, walking, and getting cuter.

and find new stuff I couldn’t reach before. Now what do I do with these? Maybe I’ll hide them from mommy😂

I found a place for my new Barbie. I put a couple of her friends on the mantle with her.

I can’t wait for Melody to be old enough to have Barbie’s. This year for Christmas we got her a guitar to play with daddy.
