I was wondering how the tradition of greeting or saying goodbye to people like this started. It’s a long complicated story as to how the tradition started many, many years ago, ancient times in fact. A few facts from google;

And there is a proper way to say it and spell it

Anyway, I hope you all had a nice Christmas and got ‘lots of toys and goodies’ from Santa’s sleigh, saw lots of friends and family, and enjoyed a meal together, or maybe two.
We spent the day with Tony having a great ham dinner while having a good time. Amy was home from college and made the day complete.

You all might remember this picture from that fun day we had with Frank and Linda back in August. We all loved the movie and I looked forward to when the movie star Barbie would be in stores. I waited and waited and no mention when that would be.

Then one day at Target it finally showed up. So look what I got for Christmas——ho!ho!ho!

I’ll have to find a special place for her. I💗it.

I finished my Polar Express puzzle. It was a joy to put that last piece in and see the end results. I think it’s beautiful.

I’m glad you’re doing puzzles again Sharon. Like you said, finding a piece is so rewarding, just like finding a word in a crossword puzzle. But this is way more fun😁
I just got this text, thanks Linda, so funny.

so here’s to a happy, healthy, prosperous new year for each and every one of us. Hope you all have a “Happy New Year’s Eve” 🎉🥂🎉

Happy New Year! Looking forward to watching the parade in the morning and I’ve got my black eyed peas soaking. Sending lots of love from the prairie.
Thanks Tracy, I see you’re at 19degrees tonight. It seems that prairie gets pretty cold🥶. Black eyed peas are a good idea for new year’s 💗mom

The pic of you and the family is charming and frame-worthy! And finding the Barbie boxes well for 2024. Happy New Year!
Some readers might not know that you, Jill, who embody Barbie not just in beauty but in joy, frequently are addressed as “Barbie.” Leaving the movie, audience members hailed Jill with enthusiastic cries of “Hello, Barbie,” placing her among the lucky few to receive such accolades
