Once in awhile-now and again-this is us

I was wondering how the tradition of greeting or saying goodbye to people like this started. It’s a long complicated story as to how the tradition started many, many years ago, ancient times in fact. A few facts from google;

Anyway, I hope you all had a nice Christmas and got ‘lots of toys and goodies’ from Santa’s sleigh, saw lots of friends and family, and enjoyed a meal together, or maybe two.
We spent the day with Tony having a great ham dinner while having a good time. Amy was home from college and made the day complete.

You all might remember this picture from that fun day we had with Frank and Linda back in August. We all loved the movie and I looked forward to when the movie star Barbie would be in stores. I waited and waited and no mention when that would be.

Then one day at Target it finally showed up. So look what I got for Christmas——ho!ho!ho!

I’ll have to find a special place for her. I💗it.

I finished my Polar Express puzzle. It was a joy to put that last piece in and see the end results. I think it’s beautiful.

I’m glad you’re doing puzzles again Sharon. Like you said, finding a piece is so rewarding, just like finding a word in a crossword puzzle. But this is way more fun😁

Merry Christmas everyone,

Hope you all are all set with plans to make your day merry and bright.
We’re going to Tonys for dinner. We’ll FaceTime with the rest of the family while there.

We haven’t been up to much. I’ve wanted to do a post but didn’t have much to share.

Except of course I’ve been dying to share a few pictures of our beautiful great granddaughter, Melody

we used just the top of our artificial tree this year. Makes it perfect to set on a table.
