A while back we went to the Richard J. Riordran Los Angeles Central Library with Frank and Linda. It’t fun to go with them when it’s something we all want to see and do, and it’s nice that Frank drives too🙂 It was the first time for us to visit and the first time for them to visit the rebuilt library. We didn’t see everything, and I didn’t get good pictures of all that we saw, so I used a few from their website.

“Riordan was praised for his leadership during turbulent times in Angeleno history, but his tenure was also defined by strife. He was in charge during the LAPD’s notorious Rampart Division scandal, where dozens of cops were embroiled in a massive bribery and shakedown scheme”.
but sometimes good outweighs bad in certain situations in my book. He’s still remembered for leaving L.A. a better city for all he accomplished.

Jerry and Frank rested as Linda and I took pictures of the beautiful grounds.

First we went down, on the longest escalator I’ve ever seen. I loved those light fixtures, there was one on each level,
then we went back up on that 4 level escalator.

The chandeliers were artistically intriguing and confusing at the same time.

Jerry looks so small in this room. We got the elevator to go to the upper levels.
Not your typical library.

We also went to the Broad Museum that day. I have a few pictures of that to share next time.
so stay tuned for some modern art😵💫🤔😳🫣🫢

P.S. this is mainly to Ted,
On my latest puzzle I couldn’t do the outside until I did most of the inside, backwards of what I always do. Ted has challenged me to do a puzzle that way, and I had no choice on this one. Putting together a totally white border would’ve been painful. I started trying to do just the middle pumpkin, but there was so much orange it got confusing. So I did most of the orange pieces first. SO I DID IT TED‼️
