A few more pictures

It was a fun trip. Took lots of pictures. Linda did too and she said I could use them. Hers are the good ones.😁 I try to put the best ones in – to tell my story. It’s hard to keep it to a minimum though.
Before I get back to the desert, I want to share a few pictures of our first “GREAT GRANDDAUGHTER”.

I chose two of the ones Hannah sent. The two of a new mommy’s favorite time with their new baby. At least it was for me, if I remember correctly.

Adorable, isn’t she just the cutest baby? Hannah said she’s a good baby too. Thanks for the picture’s Hannah. Hannah was our first granddaughter. Can’t wait to hold Melody.

now for a few more pictures of Anza Borrego

the first thing we did was to find something to stick our fingers in

Thes sculptures are all over the park. A local land owner of Goleta Meadows, wanted to put art on his land. He commissioned Ricardo Breceda, artist and welder, to make it in 2008. It’s called sky art. He still continues to add to the over 130 in the area. Check it out online. It’s so neat with various and sometimes whimsical subjects.

here is just a handful we found. You could spend a whole day finding them.

it wasn’t a super bloom but these pictures of Linda’s are pretty super!

We had a late lunch at a golf resort, went back to our casita, and took ‘showing our age’ naps.💤

After a very pleasant nap, we all decided to stay in for the night and enjoy hanging out. We had wine and lots of good things to snack on that Linda had brought.

Anza Borrego is a dark sky park, but there was too much cloud cover to see the stars that night. Bummer.

But we did see a rainbow on the drive home

The pictures of Melody and her mother at her age are precious and heart warming. What a magic place where animal sculptures abound and the desert blooms out loud.

Sounds like a great trip. I’m a big fan of naps, no matter your age! And what can I say, Melody is my first baby’s baby and I’m over the moon. So grateful I got to be there when she came home and spend some time with the new little family.

That’s cool you have nice neighbors to enjoy your trips with! The sculptures are unique and those colorful flowers are so beautiful!

How gate to have a GREAT GRANDDAUGHTER….
I really love baby’s when they are sleeping.
not so much when they are crying thought.
I hope you keep opening up to SPRING it is the best time of the year to me.
