Thanks to everyone for gifts, cards, and well wishes for our anniversary. It has been a fun experience and celebration of our 60 years together.
Last Saturday, Tony treated us to another joyous celebration. On a Duffy boat. We cruised around Long Beach harbor, even getting up close to the Queen Mary. Tracy flew from North Dakota as her gift to us. Amy and Emily, with her boyfriend Nick, came also. With their schedules it’s a rare treat to have them both at the same time. Frank and Linda joined us, and Tony and Thuy piloted the boat.We had snacks, champagne, wine, and sparkling juice while enjoying the beautiful weather and scenery. What fun we dad.

Linda was taking most of the pictures

⬆️This was a very interesting boat⬆️

You’re a star too Amy

Jerry’s farther came home from the war on the Queen Mary.
We passed the Reef restaurant which is where we had dinner the day we got married. We’ve celebrated many anniversaries there over the years. It’s still in business, but they only host large groups now. Our little group didn’t qualify.

Thanks Tony and Thuy. It was grand!!!
And next we are going to P.F. Chang’s for dinner.
stay tuned

I’m so happy for you – what wonderful gifts from your family. It was a perfect day. Happy anniversary – I wish you many more happy years together.
It was a very nice and enjoyable day to celebrate your anniversary! It’s very rare that people get to celebrate 60 years. You guys absolutely inspire us, people around you and the next generations to hang on tight to lifetime commitments and to marriage! It was meaningful that Tracy was here to celebrate with the family. I’m looking forward to many many more celebrations like this.

I think that interesting boat you talked about it’s a spy vessel personally. I love the picture of the Queen Mary with a big old cruise ship behind it making it look like a boat rather than a big ship. Congratulations you guys good job love you both.
What a lovely day. Was wonderful everyone could all get together to celebrate with you. The pictures of everyone were great, and was so good to see how the girls have grown into beautiful young ladies. Thanks for sharing. Love, Celia
Ditto what Thuy said! I love you guys!
Ray – I swear those holes in the hull of that spy boat are torpedo launchers!
So happy that I was able to be there for the festivities. It was great being out on the water – and such great weather, too! From the eggrolls to the sunshine to the great company, it was a really spectacular day! Love you guys!
What great weather looks like such an awesome ride. I didn’t know that about grandpa’s dad! It will be interesting to see how the queen Mary is after renovation, I hope they don’t modernize it too much!
