its a big place im going to. therapy in the back and a gym in the front. all the staff are super nice. my therapist continues to be pleased with my progress. i’m to the 130 range now. i gained 8 points. 140 is the goal. i’ll have one more month to get there.

here’s a glimpse of what i do. take notes sharon-
first i get a 10 minute warm moist heat to start, that feels so good.
my equipment is on the table. i’m on my own for these now.

i do a few of the easier ones first like squeezing the ball between my knees – raising my lower leg up with the bolster under my knee, letting it down slowly so you work the muscle – raise my whole leg extended up just 8 inches and feel the burn as you lower it – then do the same thing laying on your side.
remember the ONE i posted before – here it is

this one really hurts the muscles in the back of your knee. but its not the worst one of all.
you wouldn’t think the one below would be so bad, but its where the torture lies.

i don’t have a weight yet, thank goodness. do you see the ‘10’ minutes you have to lay there, your muscles screaming for you to stop after 4-5 minutes. i use visualization to get my leg to 10. i told jerry no picture for this one. i’m just laying there, dying😫
then its off to the machines
this one is pretty easy. you push outward with your knees. i started out with 2 lbs. now its 5.

this one you push in. again its pretty easy with 5 lbs. i’m sure they will raise it again soon.

on this one you start with your legs up and then swing them down under you, again 5 lbs.

then its a 7 minute ride on the bicycle on the lowest resistance 🚴🏻♀️ for now anyway

i’ve been doing those machines several times now. i was given another one monday.

as i walked up to it i said ”whoa“ what do i do on that”?😧
this is what you do

once you get yourself into it, all you have to do is push yourself up not to quite full extension, and then back down slowly. it was pretty easy once you get in it. this was the last one.
then its a quick massage ’aaahhh’..😁

then its the the TENSmachine with an ice pack for 15 minutes. and that’s it. after 2 hours we get to go home, limping a little, but proud of myself.
thanks for spotting me jerry. i couldn’t do it without you💗and for taking the pictures. i posted the best ones.
hope you find a willing spotter sharon. it helps a lot.
i was thinking of sharon while doing this. a post on the blog is the best way to send pictures with a story to somebody. that’s why ray helped me, so long ago, to send pictures home while we were on a trip. everybody that wants to – can see them. no more sending one here and one there. no more silly postcards. i highly recommend it. you didn’t know you were creating a monster bloggist, did you ray? i do thank you ray💗every time i start and finish a post. (btw, the computer was toast)
I see the doctor tomorrow. i hope he’s as pleased with my progress as my therapist.
thanks for all your comments, they bring me so much joy. another good reason to post on a blog😁
i hope you all stay tuned,
💗jilly
P.S. amy likes quotes as much as i do. i’m glad we share that.
this is a good one to live by amy💗u

Beside the fact that you shared something so dramatically intimate and informative, this is a marvelous blog. You continue to amaze me with your creativity and mastery of communicating, Jilly. Sharon take note now…
I am so proud of you.
Nice quote! I’m so proud of your progress.. you’ll be ready for the chorus line soon, well, at least sooner than me🤣
Thanks for letting giving me the information – all I can say is, Yikes – I don’t think I can raise my leg like that. Hopefully they will have an alternative. Still haven’t decided. Proud of you!
Jelly thank you for sharing all the work that you’re doing to get your knee working. I love to see the dedication you have to regaining your health and being able to garden again happily. I think Jerry should be doing that work with you but he probably will get out of it.
Wow! You are becoming a super athlete, Jill. You look terrific on those machines too. You are a winner!
As Mia Hamm, world soccer champion, says, “The vision of a champion is bent over, drenched in sweat, at the point of exhaustion, when nobody else is looking” except your blog readers 😉
Jerry Rice, Super Bowl winner, also has a good one: “Today I will do what others won’t so tomorrow I can accomplish what others can’t.”
This is especially for you Jill: “The difference between try and triumph is a little umph.”
That’s quite a routine you r hit there! Looks impressive, challenging and that you’re rocking it!
