we didn’t quite make it to lovelock. jerry got tired of driving at winnemucca. we still have one hour to lovelock. and then another hour to reno.
the drive from jackson hole to here was so boring. they were working on the road, repaving, so it was slow going in some spots. there were those orange cones for miles and miles and miles. what a job that was. it was probably 50 miles all together.

this is so boring

it must be rough and demanding to do this kind of work

finally something to look at
hummmmm

i see a gorrilla
do you

maybe it will be better on the other side
nope

we take getting electricity fo granted. it took a lot of people a lot of time to do this in a harsh enviornment.

and then in the middle of nowhere – horses on a farm

we’re almost there

we made it
good night
stay tuned

Excellent tone poem and picture placement of the boring part of traveling. The schweethearts and Smokey spoke volumes!
You make boring seem interesting….
why we like you as neighbors!
Safe and happy travels,
Rosemary
On your long drive glad you did get to see some farm horses. I loved the picture with the sunburst through the windshield, you found beauty there. Love, Celia
Give me room, lots of room, miles and miles and miles of room…and an occasional road-side attraction that serves burgers! Should have invested in the orange cone business when I had a chance.
Glad we made it through that lonely stretch of highway. You really did give us a tone poem, as Marty said. Felt like I was there. I do love your small dashboard companions. So cute.
I like the commentary by the dash animals. Which one does the most talking?
Speaking of your traveling companions, what did you name the red, white and blue bear? Is he getting along with the schweethearts? Construction season on the road! Always adds to the drama.
