or as they call it hereTRND

hey, who are you
it was a beautiful day to see such beauty. and there was much of it to see. since they have raised the prices into national parks, the entrance fee is now $30. but since we have our senior pass, we get in free.
the visitor center was very informative about teddy roosevelt had a hand in getting this park preserved. it is similar to the badlands but with trees.
i hope some of these pictures turn out and you can read some of the commentary. the horse is made out of strips of wood

Lovely! We liked the little Missouri salmon too! Did you see all the hats and dollar bills?
Saloon – not salmon. š
Looks like a great place to go horseback riding except for all those Prairie dog old and all the books I read the horses break their legs when they step in him then you have to shoot them.
Also the other day you said it gets really really cold here for a real long time maybe we’ll hold off on that horseback ride. love that you guys are having so much fun look forward to seeing you when you get home.
You find the greatest Americana places ever. Teddy Roosevelt was a hero of mine when I was a little girl- no age jokes please- so I would have hounded Ray to stop here myself. Did you see any prairie dogs in person? And yes, I loved prairie dogs when…. Keep up the good blogging, Jilly. You are the Laura Ingalls Wilder of our family.
Wow – Teddy Roosevelt was quite a strong personality. To finish a speech with a gunshot wound in his chest was amazing. We need politicians like him today! Thanks for the info.
