it was finally time to go get jerry’s gift. jerry didn’t want to eat a big lunch so on the way to the place we got a piece of pizza, just like the pizza in new york, we got there in plenty of time and had to wait for everyone else to show up. it was going to start at four.
jerry was nervous and excited at the same time. this was something we hadn’t heard about before. as many times as we’be been here i had never seen it advertised. and it’s been here seven years. it’s not for everybody. i wouldn’t do it in a million years, but some women do. they said up to fifty percent of women enjoy it.
everyone got there by four. there are a few preparations they go through in the office. i think there were six guys all together. i was going to sit in the coach and watch. i had a great view.
jerry walked by the coach on the way to the site.

and here he is in the thing he will spend the next ninety minutes doing who knows what. it’s actually called an excavator. there were three of these out there and three bulldozers.

i said whoaaaaaaaaa

okay now he will dig dirt from this spot
and put it over in this spot

the guy next to jerry had a bigger dirt pile than jerry’s
now he gets to pick up tires from here

and put them back there, he did it four times

this picture is an optical illusion. it looks like jerry is going to pick up the other bulldozer
i was standing right by this fence taking the pictures. i thought he was done and left so i went back to the coach. turns out he had one more thing that i missed. he had to grab basket balls in the huge bucket. he did it three times out of five. i would have got a great picture if i had stayed.

I DID IT!

and i have proof
jerry said it was a lot of fun,
he would do it again,
he recommends it to everyone
tony, you got try in next month
and ray, you would love all that power
happy birthday jerry, i’m glad you enjoyed it
don’t know what’s next
so stay tuned
love, jilly
Wow! That looks like fun! I’d dig it too! Happy Birthday Dad!
you can crush a car too, for more money.
how do you like the new header tracy. remember “why not” at the atomic bomb museum
You rock, Jilly. So does Jerry. Ray’s jaw is still on the floor.
Wow, that looks crazy. Looks like Jerry had a great day, so gutsy. What a unique experience and a great Birthday present. So thoughtful of you, Jill.
Woohoo!! Way to go Grandpa!! What a cute birthday boy! Glad that it turned out well! Miss you guys! Midas does too, he was following me around in the front yard last night.
This was a unique gift – different, but Jerry always was sort of…different. Glad he enjoyed it. I wish him a very Happy birthday.
Awesome! I would love to do that, too! Looks like Dad mastered it.
I just had time to look at this and i am very jealous.
You are right Jill the power is one of the main attractions for me.
