i don’t know how many of you do jigsaw puzzles?????? but i do and have for a long time. i think it started as a kid, even though i can’t remember where we would have done them. now, i keep one on a card table in the living room at all times. it’s kind of like a meditation for me. i can go and sit and not think about anything else but where the next piece goes.

.
this is my first 2000 piece puzzle. i had to get a big piece of cardboard (costco) to put on top of the table to accommodate the size – 381/2 inches by 261/2 inches. the first thing i do is put the different colors in a large flat boxes while i get the border pieces separated. i always do the border first. i couldn’t do it how you suggested ted.

i got the border done. it was so big i couldn’t reach the top. i had to move the top down to work on it. it’s complicated don’t ask. then i started doing some of the recognizable items.

i’m making progress. this puzzle was very difficult but so much fun. it’s got cat’s!

above, my next progress picture showed something i hadn’t noticed before i took the picture. do you see what i mean?

i put the last piece in.

finishing a puzzle can seem like such an accomplishment. it brings me little moments of joy. do you want me to save this one for you sharon?
or maybe the one below. i haven’t done it and probably never will.

my next puzzle is only 1000 pieces. look at all that yellow.
i just wanted to share this with you. i have many sources of joy and this is one of my favorites.
thanks for taking the time to check it out. love, jilly
p.s
I’m glad Jerry didn’t kick the bucket too ray
I love puzzles too. Thaet one was quite an accomplishment. I see the heart shaped hole in that on pix. I love your set up. I’m going to get something to put the picture on – looks like a big help. No I don’t have room for one that size. I have to stick to 1000 pcs. I agree it does feel so good when it is all done and then you go on to the next. Thanks for sharing.
Any one that could do a 2000 piece can do anything thing they put there mind to.
I have always known your were special but special and patient what a gift to the world.
Good job, Mom. You’re so systematic. Glad you have a happy spot to meditate with your puzzles!
Thanks for the comments guys. I kind of forgot how much I like getting them. You all know us pretty well by now. Is that good or bad?
We take your challenge for a game of pinochle Ray, and you’re pretty special too. (except for the patience part) 😂
Love the happy accident with unfinished part of puzzle a heart. Maybe puzzles are like life. If you have a plan, and stick with it, you will have fun and enjoy every minute, even the puzzling and difficult pieces, and will be contented you gave it your all and accomplished a great deal with the doing of it.
Oh My Gosh!! That puzzle seems really hard!! I think the biggest puzzle I’ve done is 200 pieces! Hehe ❤
