did you all see the exlipse? we watched it from our campground. it was an earth connecting experience. i loved it. we actually saw some stars. this is my only picture when it was a total and i took my glasses off. you won’t see this one on the internet.

and if you rotate it a little…….

who is that up there?
someone told us about mcdowell park not far from the campground. it was so pretty and lush. we went sunday before the eclipse.

someone was flying a drone taking pictures and a dog began barking at it and trying to get it.

they have these picnic tables that are in little coves. a great idea. but probably a headache to maintain.

i liked the the way this picture turned out with the sun behind the moss.

i’m sure amy will see the heart in this one.
we left our campground this morning. we had been there six days. it was so relaxing and fun to be in one spot for awhile.

we are at a mcdonalds in sweet home, headed towards reno.
stay tuned.
Beautiful lush forests – lovely! Now you’re on the road again. Glad to hear about your eclipse experience and glad we got to chat a bit. Love you! Be safe on the road.
Wow…a happy heart eclipse. Only you could take that picture, it’s a little eerie. All of your park pics are wonderful.
Hugs, Paula and Norm
How exciting that you were right there for the eclipse. It was cloudy here and a no show. I watched on TV live and thought about you guys. The McDowell Park was lovely. I’ve never seen picnic tables in little coves; what a nice idea. Enjoy your drive to Nevada, and please say hi to Ted for me. Sis
I never received this post. I found it by going through the other posts. I wonder why. Glad that you saw the eclipse. These pictures are gorgeous.
