without a drop of rain, and no traffic! unlike yesterday’s downpour. we would have been in the thick of it.
i’m so glad we got to see cher for maybe the last time. her show was so entertaining. she sang so many of her old songs, the ones i used to listen to day after day, hour after hour. huh tracy?

i have quite a collection of her albums. notice in the next picture they used one of her album covers for the poster

i wore my classic 1990 ‘heart of stone’ tour tshirt

WOW

she made a grand entrance

the show was very theatrical

and the fans were plenty
i took a few pictures and then just put the camera away. i was in the moment of joy zone.
so our plans for thursday were to see the mob museum and the nevada museum of art. we also wanted to see the remaining neon light signs on the strip lit up at night. there are 9 left. we did go to the neon museum, where we found that out. we got a really cool guide. he was a nevada native with a masters in art, also a college professor. he knew all about the history of the signs. he grew up with them.
stay tuned for pictures of that
Welcome home all dry and cozy. It is really wise not to drive for hours in the rain if you can bargain with Mother Nature. Love the album shots and you with the poster. It is wonderful you got to see her again. I would do the same for Bob Segar! Memories are powerful comfort and delight.
Welcome home.
Glad you made it home safely. I worried about that. Great pictures from the show. Your free and happy spirit comes through in your blog. I could see you enjoying Cher danceful and uninhibited. I envy your joyfulness. Again, I apologize for my delayed comments.
I cannot hear Cher without thinking about those little microphones and having to sit still and be quiet! Glad she sang some oldies – I would’ve cried during the song with Sonny!
