the endeavor shuttle flying over long beach sept.21, 2012.
your first look at the endeavor is amazing.

there are over 20,000 tiles on the bottom of the shuttle. they are all different sizes and shapes. my picture wasn’t clear enough to see they are all numbered.

they have photos of every mission. from the first.

to the last.

which we were lucky enough to see lift off in florida.

atlantis will be on exibit at the kennedy space center in cape canaveral.
there are plans on expanding the endeavor exibit here.it will then stand on end as if taking off with the booster attached. it sits outside now.

jessica was blown away by all the interesting exibits.

i watched this little boy read every word of this sign about outboard motors.

when we got home jessica said good-bye to her cat zorro. she has to go back to oregon.
our next trip will be in february for valentines day.
stay tuned
You have quite the connection to the space shuttles. Really cool to see the pics from your “action shots” in conjunction with the visit to the museum. Thanks for sharing! Love the pic of Zoro and Jessica too. Awwww.
Very interesting – to see the shuttles in the air and then in the museum. Thank you. .
