we left lake tahoe a little early since it was going to start snowing the next day. it was so beautiful and we had so much fun. it’s been a long time since we’ve been there.

so we left from the south of lake tahoe and got over to 395 on some desolate roads. but they sure were gorgeous with color.
i want to think i have a seeing eye.

we spent the night at chris flat campground on 395. we got a spot on the water, since it was almost empty. most of the campgrounds were already closed for the season. it had been a long day of driving for jerry.

we’ve been in las vegas for a few days now. it’s not to hot and it’s not cold at night yet.
i have had so much trouble with finding a wi fi spot this trip. i have a few more pictures to post but we are leaving here tomorrow so i’ll wait and do a post for those when we get home. i promise no fountain pictures ray.
thanks for staying tuned in to our travels.
love all of you, jill
very pretty scenery. Love the fall colors. You do have a seeing eye, Jill
You do have a seeing eye and it frequently has a mischievious twinkle. Love your posts and kind of sorry I won’t get to hear Ray groan when he sees the fountain photos… it’s the little rituals that keep a marriage together.
Spectacular Nevada fall trees. Really enjoyed this post. Have a safe trip home. Love, Celia
One thing I do miss about Minnesota is the fall trees. I love those colors, just magic, especially when not all of them have changed.
