jerry is reading tonight so i thought i would do another post.
we always enjoy our visits to the nevada museum of art with ted. we’ve seen a lot of interesting exhibits. this one was, let’s say unusual.

recycled christmas trees

what do you think jerry? i don’t know, what do you think ted? i think i like it.

this is hand blown glass

do you think this is the future of books ray?

do you know your zodiac sign? i’m the dog on the right.

ted and jerry are the ram. don’t do it ted. they’re watching you.

what do you think ted? i don’t know, what do you think jerry? i think i like it.

there was ‘real art’ also. i think i did a puzzle of this.

we went out for chinese food after the museum. the restaurant is right in teds neighborhood.
one of our items looked like it could be a work of art in the museum.

tomorrow we are hitting some of the great thrift stores here in reno.. we plan on spending the night in ted’s driveway again before heading out for lake tahoe tuesday. (it saves us forty dollars)
i’ll try to find you all something in the thrift store
so stay tuned.
Art is certainly in the eye of the beholder! There is always a spark of genius in any concept, but sometimes a tiny bit less virtuosity in the execution or translation into subjective form. You seem to have found a fine collection of offbeat flair in that museum- with perhaps a couple of con artists thrown if for effect. Grandma Moses is the gem in the rhinestone pile. You do know the fine art of dining! Safe travels.
interesting art. I don’t think I would want any of it – unless it was worth a lot of money! I do love Grandma Moses – she gives us all hope. Keep having fun. Love ya.
Interesting, but the best looking thing on this page is the Chinese ribs! 🙂
Very interesting! In my eyes, the Chinese ribs are a work of art. Celia
I’ve knitted and crocheted chair covers for the living room, but never thought to knit/crochet one for the washer!!! Glad you’re having a good time. –kn
