we had to be at the stables at 7:30 this morning. it was kind of hard to get up after a late night. but we did it.
I sure didn’t want to get that big one.

thankfully I didn’t. I got Wilbur and jerry got strawberry.

it was a beautiful ride. a little overcast but a least it wasn’t hot. we rode for about an hour out into some of the 12,000 acres of land they own. most of the green grass has turned brown now, but it was still so beautiful.

Wilbur was so slow. he just ambled along. never keeping up with the other horses. strawberry wanted to pass but he had to be the last horse because he didn’t get along with any of the horses, just Wilbur.

strawberry kept saying hurry up.

we had a wonderful breakfast with anything you could want to eat. I had the bacon made with pancake batter poured over it and cooked. so delicious.
we rode back and it was time to check out. we had a wonderful time and this will probably be one of our new favorite places.
until next time frank

I’ll say this for you guys, Wilbur and Strawberry! Sounds idyllic and I’m so jealous- of the bacon pancakes as well! You two are a pair to draw to.
And might I add you both sit a horse like champions!
Jerry looks like he know what he is doing on the back of a horse.
thanks for doing this for me I will send some money for the gas.
Looks like Strawberry was smiling for the camera. It’s funny how each animal has their own personality. Glad you’re having fun and sharing it with us.
I would like to see a picture of that bacon-pancake concoction! Food glorious food….
I love the pic of you two on Wilbur and Strawberry. So cute – you look happy!
You both look so natural on horseback. just like a cowboy movie. Can’t get picture of that bacon out of my head, and bacon pancakes, too, oh my. Glad you enjoyed BBQ Boot camp, and will be one of your favorites, and you got home safely.
