this is one of the largest missions we’ve been to. it’s been restored beautifully.

We’ve been to that one! I liked the little vignettes that give you a glimpse of life back in the olden days. I think I really liked the chapel there – did you get any pictures of that (of course you did – I will stay tuned). xo
I enjoy your pictures. It’s like being there myself.
The mission is big, but it seems barren or sterile. Not at all like San Juan Capistrano. The swallow nest made me remember how they used to dive bomb us when we left the house! Good times!
Loved the perspective on the columns with the lovely white blossoms in foreground, and then a nice surprise with the close up beauty. I felt a quiet peacefulness in your photos.
