we started seeing the change in colors on the trees in bishop. I love the way the trees go up the mountains following the water.
we got to june lake and found a campground.
we drove around the june lake road the next day. it was a windy but beautiful day. there are four lakes in the loop. we stopped at gull lake to take some pictures.
grant lake is not as pretty. this is only one end of it, but you can see how the water level is drastically low.
you come back to 395 near mono lake. so that will be the next post.
stay tuned

I didn’t know it was more than one lake. The colors are lovely but it’s kind of sad to see the water level.
calif. is in real trouble.
The pink clouds reflecting in the lake silhouetted by the trees such a great shot, and how lovely by the lakes in the fall with the vibrant yellows. The view from your B&B must be spectacular. I am enjoying this trip so much already.
I love the gold color of the trees. Such a gorgeous color – especially up against the gray hues of the hills. How’s that camera working out??
I love the color of the leaves also. Just wanted to let you know that we did the skit, Trash Bags, at church yesterday. We used the gold bag and ribbons you made for us last time. So thanks again. Love – Sharon
i’m here in curry village and just posted. now i’m checking all my wonderful comments. thanks everyone.
the colors are breathtaking as everyone knows they can be. it’s so wonderful to get to experience this great place.
i’m still getting used to the camera.
