we had another nice breakfast at homage. after we were done, I went back in to compliment the baker. I said you have the best pastries and the scones are the best I’ve ever had. the recipe is her mother’s of course.
it was another beautiful day so we took another walk at the gardens. ted walks everyday at a variety of places. if you go early it’s not hot. there is so much shade along the paths.
we met the cutest little boy on the trail. he hung around us for a little while.
can i take your picture kyle? ah, shucks. i don’t know.
ok. how’s this?
the salvation army was having a 50% off sale. this will be my last one ted. i promise.
ted had something for me, so we went back to his house to say our good byes and have the last shiner black lager he had. (he gave us a six pack for the road, thanks ted).
stay tuned.

Glad you could have one more day with Ted, even if he had to do one more thrift store, but how could you not with 50% off. Loved the garden path, so beautiful with the canopy of trees.
Who wouldn’t want to walk everyday in such surroundings? LvU, Sharon.
and it’s not far from his house. it’s acres, so you can walk long or short. or as ted say’s the whimpy trails which we did.
I found some good stuff at that thrift store too.
I love tunnels like that, with vines over it
