unlike seattle we have found parking very easily and close to all our stops in Portland. but, the traffic is horrendous. after a crash it took us a half hour to go 5 miles.
I don’t know what I expected, since I didn’t know about these gardens. I knew I would never see them so this would be a good way. it was. I learned a lot.
we don’t know where we will go next. since it’s my birthday, it will be wherever I want. but it won’t be in one of these.
there is a gooodwill outlet nearby
stay tuned

Loved the pictures and the snippets of info. I don’t know the name of the painting you especially liked and that disturbs me as I wrote a two hundred page thesis on the art in that period in college… ah the stuff that leaks out of the brain never to returns…
maybe our neighbor paula will know. she recently went to the louvre in paris. or chris, he lived in france. or linda and frank they recently went to france. I particularly liked the way the sun was perceived.
Thanks for sharing the museum with us. I see why the unidentified work was your favorite. First time viewing this painting, and I also loved the use of light . Smiled when I saw the Counsel of Monkeys. Today go where your heart takes you.
Anonymous @ 12:27pm is me; name must have dropped off. I forgot to say I like your new banner on the Golden Gate bridge. Love, Celia

Great post too bad about the traffic. Life is a journey so enjoy every mile, HAPPY BIRTHDAY. “And in the end it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years.”~Abraham Lincoln
Here’s my reaction as I scrolled through this one… boring, boring, boring, yawn, boring, boring… COOL CAR! Sorry, I guess I’m just not as sophisticated as the FRENCH!
Happy Birthday, Jill. You deserve more than Goooodwill but that’s what you like. Hope you find a treasure today. Love you, Sharon.
