we haven’t had wifi for a few days.
so…..
we made it to Canada yesterday. we took the 90 minute ferry over to Victoria. there’s isn’t much to see on this trip. you cross the ‘straight juan de fuca. which was pretty smooth sailing. coach and all.
to get to cape flattery, you drive a curvy scenic 80 mile road along ‘the straight of juan de fuca’ out to the lighthouse. we knew it was on an island, totoosh, and we wouldn’t be able to get close. that was ok. and the path to the lookout was long. that was ok.
because this is what you see when you get to your destination………

now we have to walk back?????? just look at the pictures in reverse to get the idea. ha ha
the sun will come out tomorrw
so, stay tuned

You guys impress me no end!! It would not have occurred to me to shoot the sequences of the trail, I’d be too busy lamenting having gone in the first place. Your pictures tell a story that my heart fills in with you two bickering and cooing and oohing and aahing and talking about what each of the hundreds of best friends you know would say when they see what you’ve accomplished when they read your blog.
were you behind us on the trail??????
I found out that’s what I like to do, tell a story, taking you with us.
