that’s pronounced squim, is known for their lavender farms. there are a least half a dozen. we chose to visit ‘jardin du soleil’. i’m not a big fan of the smell of lavender, but i though a whole field of purple flowers whould be very pretty. and it was. they have a lot of colors I didn’t know about. the lavender festival is next weekend. i’m glad we won’t be here for the influx of people coming for that.

Well, you got MY attention with all the purple flowers! I’m not fond of lavender scent either- it’s not unpleasant but reminds me of old, old women… hmmm- guess I must have joined the ancient procession, let me grab my lavender scented hanky-
