from the road, you can’t see all the birds that live on the rocks behind this lighthouse. so i’m glad we got to stop this time. even though we didn’t take the tour. I don’t know how many steps it had, but we still had horse legs and didn’t want to be climbing any steps.
I couldn’t decide which pictures to use, so here’s two.
we headed for Tillamook after this. we’re going to see the fireworks at rockaway beach for the 4th. so stay tuned









How do you keep finding lighthouses? I was interested in the article about what the watchers did before popular entertainment was invented. Never thought about not having my digital solitaire at my fingertips to keep me awake!
not only that, there were no elevators. you had to climb all those stairs.
I like the first lighthouse picture better because you can see more blue sky.
I like the third (last) lighthouse picture because you can see the field and flowers. Nice job, Mom. I love lighthouses.
