but we saw another mission. mission santa cruz. this one had been destroyed by an earthquake though. only one building survived.
I wish I had room for more of the factual pictures I took. it is so interesting the lives these buildings have housed. the joy and hardship. so pay attention in class Emily. there’s a lot to learn. I love you, grandma.
we finished the day at jerold o’briens wine tasting room. he has a nice place here. we tasted 10 wines all together. just sips mind you. they were all pretty good. we bought a case since we got a family discount. that should last the trip. ha ha aha.
stay tuned for the woodies.

Hey- watch those candles… we visited this mission and I bought a beautiful rosary there. Hard to believe we were once out of Bellflower, eh?
I prayed that my mother and father were getting along
I always envisioned the wine tasting room as a dark, romantic, inviting kind of place. I’m surprised that it looks kind of sterile, bright, and a little messy.
they don’t want you to get so comfortable you forget to buy wine.
