we got up Monday morning and went back to the goodwill. they have some good stuff and the little things are so cheap.
the road from phoenix to quartzite is not full of surprises anymore. we’ve traveled it so much. but this cloud was a nice surprise.
tony asked where we were the night I called him. this is it tony. in January there would have been wall to wall motorhomes and trailers. it’s the bureau of land management area where you can stay up to 14 days free dry camping.
this is so much fun for us. (others would be bored silly I know). we’ve came here for 18 years in a row. then the town started changing and our favorite vendors quit coming. a lot of rv sales lots have taken over. and I guess we had collected enough rocks and such, that we couldn’t fit anymore in the house. jerry lost his passion for making wind chimes and didn’t need any more agates. so for 3 years we didn’t go. that’s why we tried Tucson this year. but I think our hearts belong here.

Sounds kind of sad and sweet at the same time. I can’t imagine having enough rocks though!
What jewels did you find in the bins?
More stuff every 2 hr. how could you ever leave? Marty would still be there today and maybe for the rest of her life.
STOP telling her about things like this, I like keeping her at home.
I found so much good stuff Martha. like ray says you would not want to leave. jerry was so sweet to be patient with me.
you would love quartzite. we would have to get one of little scooters for you so you wouldn’t miss anything.
I like shopping too. Sharon
14 days in the middle of nowhere on dry, desert ground, with no hookups and no signs of life as far as the eye can see… and it’s FREE?!?! WOW! Take advantage of that bargain while you still can!!
I guess the limit is 14 days because you’d be dead if you stayed much longer.
Good morning! When you get home, I think you should print out the photo of the feather cloud for Dr Betty! Much has happened since you went away. We’re looking forward to your return. Love, Kara
ok Sharon you can come too.
ha ha ha tony. you made me laugh.
kara, we heard about frank and linda. have you seen the picture we gave dr. betty of the spine cloud from florida?
