we saw a lot of great landscapes along our drive to Scottsdale. the more you visit the desert, you more you appreciate it. (just like the fountains at the Bellagio, ray). there are so many photo opportunities sharon, if you can find a place to pull over at the right place that is.
now, don’t these pictures make you just want to get out there with your paints and brushes and an easel Martha?
we made it just in time to have dinner at the famous Scottsdale cowboy steakhouse, ‘pinnacle peak’.

we discovered it about 20 years ago when we were doing trade shows for pbi. it’s the restaurant that cuts your tie off if you’re wearing one. and then hang them on the ceiling.
we enjoyed our dinner, a 16oz T-bone called the cowgirl. the 32oz porterhouse is called the cowboy! and then we stayed in their parking lot overnight.
oh by the way, sorry about getting willie nelson’s song “on the road again” in your head tracy. but that’s why I put it on the blog, to get it our of mine.
on the road again, just can’t wait to get on the road again.

You’re right about the beauty of the landscape… now if there were a rogue bunny in the picture I would grab my paints… so jealous about the steak- around our house it would be tosteakfu steamed within an inch of its fake protein life and then stirred fried with some innocent vegetables.
Thanks again, Jill for letting me know about some other things you like that I don’t give a sh-t about.
Keep us posted on what we are missing, I love hearing from you.
there were jackrabbits. but keeping them still would be a problem. they run. like crazy. we have rabbits in our campground!
yummy steak or tofu. hmmmmmm…….
yeah, yeah, yeah ray. I know you would love it out here.
We have a Pinnacle Peaks here near me. I wonder if it is as good. Much better than ToeFueySteak, I know. Good Pix. Sharon
I bet that steak was good!
I remember we went to yours sharon and it’s not quite as good.
it was delicious tony!
How funny about the ties! That’s an interesting decorative concept. Miss you guys!
you used to be able to staple your business cards on the walls, but the fire dept. decided that was not a good idea. all they serve here are big chucks of beef Hannah. glad to get a comment from you. love, grandma
