we drove up to arcosanti today. we’re the red square on the map. we first visited here twenty years ago. for the trade shows we drove the truck here and set it up and then tore it down then drove the truck home. for three days we had free time to do other things. this place sounded interesting and it is.

the main attraction here are the bells and wind chimes they make. i always wanted a bell but since they are expensive i didn’t treat myself to one back then. rather than try to explain this place on the post, check out their website. you’d like this ray. you would too ted. in fact they have week long workshops.
we ate a vegan meal tonight in their cafe. it was really good. the salad dressings were delicious. i’m going to try and get the recipes. now we’ll stay in their parking lot overnight. $5.00 and you get wifi. it’s very cool here. (both kinds of cool). very pleasant. we are in the middle of nowhere so we should see lots of stars. wish i could get pictures of that. i guess i would need a better camera. have you ever taken pictures of the stars Sharon? oh i forgot we don’t see stars in southern California. how about you ted. with those super duper cameras you have?

I’m trying to think of somehow saying you did something with bells on, but guess I’m all dried up tonight. Enjoy the chimes and the stars and the clean air and lovely parking lot. Buy yourself a bell for Pete’s sake. You know I would- oh yeah, I’m a bad example!
it was hard to decide on just one. they all have a different sound.
we slept so good last night. the stars were gorgeous. we’re having bagels and granola in the café right now.
we’ll be home soon with bells on. oh, I guess I need to buy one more.
One thing I know I would like is looking at the stars, just lay down and look up, now that is a good time to me. I like the bells also. thanks for keeping us with you.
I haven’t taken pictures of the stars. I know you need a tripod and a long exposure. I would like to do that. You do the most interesting things. Thanks for sharing. Sharon.
the stars are fascinating and we forget they’re up there most of the time at home. at some of our remote campsites we even get to see the milky way.
sharon if we ever make our trip to teds, we’ll go to lake Tahoe. the road up the hill is crazy with stars. maybe ted will give us some pointers.
